To lay the cable in the envelope of the canifas block there is a folding part (cheek).
Canifas-blocks - single-pulley metal or wooden blocks with an outer shell, in which one cheek is folded on a hinge.
They are used to change the direction of traction of the running blades in lifting devices.
Hooks of canifas blocks are acetabular (rotate in the case of the block).
Canifas blocks for steel ropes are used on ships and floating means to change the voltage of the branches of closed cable wiring.
